Drunken Kung Fu
Drunken Kung Fu is a fighting form of Chinese Kung Fu. There are various Northern and Southern Drunken Kung Fu forms. The movements of this style symbolize a person who is drunk, and the movements as well as the user look clumsy and relaxed. According to the legend, the user would perform far better if he had a drink between his countering and attacking. During the form there are many postures where the user would appear to be asking for a refill. The hand and finger positioning demonstrate as if the practitioner is holding a small cup.
It is a very effective system when used, because the opponent is constantly suprised by the Drunken users movements of attack and defense. This form offers counter and attacking movements from all ranges, from the ground to head level attacks.
